Sold Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Ring SZ 5.25
How do I even begin to describe this ring. In the center, there is an amazing sapphire that is Old European Cut and Bezel/Bead set in the ring. Above and below the sapphire are three single cut diamonds that are SI2 or better in clarity and GH in color or better. There is beading all over the top of this ring which was hand done by the jeweler back in the early 1900's, possibly late 1800's. This is a size 5.25 and is sizeable. The shank of the ring is not marked but tested at least 14K yellow gold and the top of the ring is at least 14K white gold. You just cant find these rings anymore, not in this condition. It is perfect in everyway! So delicate looking, so refined. You feel like a lady straight from the Victorian era when you put this ring on your finger. What an amazing engagement ring this would make! The ring measures 16mm from north to south and 9mm east to west at the widest points. it weighs 3.02g.
