Sold!! Vint Sapp and Dia 3 Stone Ring Alm 2 CTS
This ring has been with me forwever, probably one of the very first antique rings that I purchased in Leesburg, VA. This ring is Circa 1920/1930. Size is a 5.25. The center stone is a real Cushion Cut Sapphire that measures 5.65mm x 5.53mm (set) and weighs approximately .70-.75ct in weight. It is a gorgeous blue and is not dark. It is arouns SI1 in clarity range. It is bear claw set. On either side of the sapphire are Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds (obviously replaced before I purchased the ring) that are SI1-SI2 in clarity (nothing seen with the naked eye) and GHI in color. Each measure 5.50mm (set) which puts them each in the .60 ct range per diamond and both diamond are bear and cead set as well.. The total diamond carat weigth is around 1.20CTTW and the Sapphire is around .70 CT making this almost 2 CTS! The gallery of this ring is exquisite. The shank of the ring was made into an oval shape so that the ring would not flop from side to side when wearing and is baely marked 18K gold. I did have it tested and it is 18K white gold. This is a one of a kind ring that you will likely not find again! IT is amazing! I am asking $2700.00 OBO for it, NOW $2000.00 OBO.
