Background:
I bought this diamond as a loose stone from Brilliant Earth with the intent of finding another source for the setting, but I later found out that this was a mistake because I ended up proposing with a fill-in ring and once my fiance started really diving into rings that were compatible with Marquise, we realized that this particular cut of diamond is more of a limiting factor than anything. So I'm now trying to recoup a little bit of the cost of what I paid so that we can get the ring that she truly does want.
The stone has never even been removed from the sealed container that it was shipped in from Brilliant Earth.
