Heavy 14k yellow gold Jabel Ring
This is a vintage, 14k yellow gold ring from Jabel, which has two beautiful diamonds set into starbursts. The diamonds are round brilliant cuts, about 40 ctw, and were graded as VS1/F by a GIA certified graduate gemologist (in the setting - they were not removed.) The ring is 4.75mm wide, and just shy of 2mm thick. It's size 9, and weighs 7.8 grams - it has a wonderful presence on the finger, and the diamonds shine like you wouldn't believe.
Jabel bands are die-struck, meaning the gold is compressed under great pressure. The result is a piece of jewelry that is stronger than anything cast would be.
