Vintage carved bone Elephant necklace from Burma.
NOT ivory. Vintage carved bone necklace with elephant design. My uncle brought this necklace back from Burma during World War II. The clasp is a screw type, but the necklace will fit over my head without undoing the clasp. One of the elephants is upside down, and this is original to the necklace, since it has never been restrung.
The necklace is 24 inches long. The pendant is 1.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches long.
My uncle also brought back some carved bone earrings to go with the necklace, with a flower design. Since the earrings and necklace are not a matched set, I have listed the earrings separately.
