For sale is a modified asscher cut 5.11 ct imperial garnet with VVS clarity. The dimensions are 8.50 x 8.49 x 7.81 mm. Origin is from Tunduru, Tanzania; treatment: None. This stone was originally purchased from John Burleyson of GemRite and there is a video on his website of the stone that can be viewed here: http://gemrite.com/imperial-garnet-/29-imperial-garnet-511-cts.html. His original description of the stone notes that this imperial garnet shifts from a peachy pink (incandescent lightin) to golden orange (fluorescent lighting) color. This stone has great color change as well as color base. This is an extremely large and beautiful Imperial garnet.
