Purchased from @chopayaa (www.etsy.com/shop/anciennebijoux) last year, it's time to part with this exquisite piece of Italian Liberty (Art Nouveau). This ring is from the end of the 19th/early 20th century and is finely handmade. The upper part is made of silver openwork, which is engraved with soft scrolls and enriched by a central bezel made of yellow gold. The piece is adorned by a beautiful cornflower blue no heat (likely Ceylon) sapphire of approx 7.65ct meansuring 10.9 x 10.35 x 8.59mm. There are also 6 x old cut diamonds of approx 0.32ct in this special ring. The lower part of the ring is made of 18ct gold to commemorate the engravings of the upper part. The ring is a size 7.25. The ring is in lovely condition for the age. The sapphire has minor wear for a more than 100 year old jewel (see pictures).
