Description

This is a high-end solid platinum diamond band ring, signed JCR, which is the hallmark for designer Chuck Clemency. This is an early Clemency piece from quite a few years ago, from his "Platinum Players" collection in the early days. This would make an amazing wedding band, if you had a nice large diamond solitaire

The mounting is thick and heavy and there's a LOT of platinum here. It would benefit from a professional steam cleaning behind the diamonds.

This is sort of a variation on the three-stone style. There are three Maltese cross shapes going across the front of the band. In the center of each is a .10 carat genuine bright canary yellow diamond, set in a four-pronged head. Surrounding each canary diamond are the four "arms" of the cross, into which are prong-set, 12 fiery white diamonds, approximately .015 ct each. The canary diamonds rise above the white diamonds just a bit.

All of these diamonds are of excellent quality. Two of the yellow diamonds are graded by our experienced estate jeweler as VS-2 clarity, and one is SI-1 clarity, and they are considered "Fancy Yellow." The white diamonds are graded as F/G color and SI-1/2 clarity.

This is a signature band that will draw compliments wherever you go--it's so unique.

The face measures 1/4" top to bottom at the front, and the diamonds span 3/4" across the top. The ring weighs 7.5 grams, and it's marked PLAT JCR. As noted, it could use a steam cleaning. This band is in excellent condition with no damage. It's a size 5.5 and can be sized by a competent jeweler.
