Description

This is a vintage engagement ring from the 40's from Birks Canada. It has a white gold illusion style 4 prong head with a 14 karat yellow gold shank designed so that weddingbands sit flush with the engagement ring. (I wore a 2 mm tall and 3 mm wide eternity band with this and it fit flush and perfectly) The center stone is a chinese white wink CZ which has a slight chip which is not noticable. (This is the old chinese white colour from 2008) The setting originally held a diamond about 6 mm and I had a one carat 6.5 mm winkcz placed instead.  It is truly a gorgeous vintage setting with 2 sizing beads inside which I have been told can be removed. I have only worn this ring a handful of times and it is in fantastic condition.  It does need a polish and prongs tightened which is why I am selling as a semi mount due to these small maintenance requirements.
