Here's a traffic stopper of a ring! It's a natural (NOT clarity enhanced) 2.69 carat marquise diamond ring. I've had so many compliments on this ring! So many people have grabbed my hand & couldn't believe it was a real diamond! Several people have said, "Is that a 5 carat diamond!?!" Marquise cuts look HUGE for their weight! It's definitely not a ring for the shy! I love it, but am needing to sell some things to fund my dream ring.

The marquise is HUGE! It measures 14.90mm by 6.50mm & it's 5.11mm deep. I recently had it appraised by Diamonds Direct (formerly Global Diamonds). The GIA graduate gemologist graded it as "top light brown" in color and I2 in clarity. It definitely does NOT look like a brown diamond to me. It's NOT icy white, but it varies from a warmer white to a very light champagne color, depending on the lighting. The I2 clarity sounds scary, but most of the inclusions are near the prongs, not in the center portion of the stone. The visible inclusions consist of a long but very slender feather off to the side & a small cluster of black carbon spots, also off to the side. The champagne color helps conceal the inclusions too. For an I2, it's a very nice diamond! It appraised for $4995. in June of 2017.

The setting is a 14K (marked) yellow gold ring. The prongs are 14K white gold though. It's a very wide setting, and it weighs 5.3 grams (without the diamond), and 8.8 grams (with the diamond). It's in between a size 6.50 and 6.75 on my mandrel, but my jeweler said it's easily sizable (up or down) since there aren't any diamonds on the band.

The diamond & ring are in excellent condition. The only slight issue with the setting, is that there should be 6 gold stabilizer bars, that attach the peg head/basket to the setting. It looks like the jeweler got the torch too hot when they welded the peg head/basket to the setting, since there are only 5 gold stabilizer bars visible. I purchased this piece second-hand, and this is the way it came. I have worn it without any issues or problems for 5 years, so I don't foresee any issues with it, unless it bothers you visually. I just had my jeweler polish it & do a deep cleaning, so it looks pristine!

Please ask all questions beforehand, as this is a final sale. I will include free priority shipping and insurance on this. Will ship to USA only.

I've sold quite a few items on Bistro now. I've also sold many items on Ebay, with excellent feedback. I'm mindy_molly_sadie on Ebay.

Thanks for looking!
